Australias past showcased in Great Collections at the Art Gallery of Ballarat, 25 July 30 August 09. The Great Collections is drawn from the cultural collections of the Botanic Gardens Trust, the Australian Museum, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the State Library of New South Wales, the Powerhouse Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Historic Houses Trust of New South Wales and State Records New South Wales. The exhibition has been organised by Museums & Galleries NSW and was three years in the making.
